Pastor Ron is the primary teaching pastor and vision caster for FBC. He is passionate about seeing the church fulfill its call to make disciples and to see FBC take an active role in reaching the community of Defiance, Ohio with the good news of Jesus Christ.  He and his wife Suzi have served at FBC since 2016.

Pastor Wayne has a variety of roles at FBC.  He leads the Worship Ministry, facilitates Small Groups, shares preaching duties, and leads the married couple's ministry.  He and his wife, Kari, have served at FBC since 2004 and are blessed with three beautiful daughters.

Joy heads up coordinating the various volunteer led ministries at FBC, and directly overseers the nursery ministry.  She keeps the office organized, facilitates communication, manages the calendar and events, and generally just helps things run smoothly.  Joy joined the FBC staff in March, 2025.

Mark and his wife, Brenda, have been part of the FBC family for more than 10 years.  Mark has a genuine heart to serve people and share the love of Jesus with others.  They are raising three children and love to do things outdoors as a family!

Leon is joined in service by his wife, Mary Lou.  Both have been very active in FBC ministries for many decades.  Leon leads FBC with a humble heart, seeking to honor the Lord in all things.

Brad and his wife Jo Ann serve the Lord at FBC with humility and a servant's heart.  Brad helps to provide leadership in the area of building, grounds, and finance.  They love getting to spend time with their two adult children and two grandchildren.

Ted serves as one of our Overseers at FBC.  He was added to the leadership team in November 2025.  Kari is the director of 412 Sycamore, the children's ministry during the service on Sunday mornings.  

Ben and Melissa have been leading Amp Youth since 2021.  They have a heart for the students to know Christ and are gifted at connecting with them.  They each have full time careers outside of the church but love to serve and be used by the Lord.

Andy and Amber are the leaders of our Awana ministry on Wednesday nights.  They have a heart to invest in the volunteers of Awana to multiply the impact of the gospel in the lives of children and families.   In addition, Amber is part of the FBC Staff as one of our custodians.

Aaron serves FBC as one of our worship leaders.  He loves to sing and play, using the abilities God has blessed him with to encourage the church.  Aaron is a genuine and authentic in the way he leads worship.

Blake brings a long history of playing music, since he was a little boy, to leading us in worship.  While being gifted musically, he also shares with the church his heart of gratitude to the Lord for the grace and mercy shown to him.
